SAP ABAP Team Lead
Remote, Germany

This company has 2 office locations, Dusseldorf (HQ) and Frankfurt. With this position, you can work remotely (optional) from anywhere in Germany with the expectation to travel to Dusseldorf for 1/2 days every 2 months.

I am currently recruiting for a global end customer based in Dusseldorf looking to hire a SAP ABAP Team Lead to be responsible for the day to day running of the SAP Technology department for SAP in Germany and Europe.

The team currently consists of 2 internal Consultants and 3 external Consultants, but plans are to grow this team with additional resources in preparation for the incoming global S/4 HANA implementation which has just begun. For the S/4 HANA implementation, you will help design the roadmap and define the strategy, work with the functional team and be responsible for the successful delivery of the implementation within SAP Technology. Technologies such as SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 will also be considered for implementation.

This role will be 70% hands off position with the expectation of slight involvement as and when required.

Essential Requirements
This candidate MUST have experience/knowledge in the following:
• Experience in SAP ABAP (ALV, Enhancements, OO, EDI, Interfaces)
• Team Leadership Experience
• Business Process Knowledge
• English (B2 Min)
• International Project Experience

Desirable Requirements
The candidate DOES NOT need knowledge in, but would be advantageous if they had experience in:
• Any other International Language
• Experience with S/4 HANA
• Consultancy Experience
