Salesforce Operations Specialist – 3x locations across Germany

This client is a family run, international logistics business who employ over 4000 staff and operate out of 10 countries across Europe. Due to continued growth, they’re upgrading their internal IT infrastructure to Salesforce’s Sales, Service, Marketing & Commerce Cloud so require an experienced Salesforce professional to join and take control of all internal Salesforce systems.
You’ll be part of the Management team working closely with the business owners, CIO and external partners to implement and rollout the systems to their international offices whilst managing the further support and maintenance.
As the company grows more and more, there will be requirement for the IT team to expand more having a dedicated professional for each cloud which will see the person who assumes this role, to become the platform manager and have direct reports in other Salesforce experts.
The Salesforce Operations Specialist will be:
Part of and managing the end to end implementation in the areas of e-commerce & marketing CRM
Providing technical support to all offices across various countries
Responsible for further system development, continuous alignment with CI/CD and delivery in the multi-cloud environment
Managing the technical queries with the suppliers and implementation partners like performance, release and license management, system extensions, add-ons, the overall implementation and integrations
Manage and monitor service level agreements with service providers
Developing and testing new functions for the business and responsible for the technical documentation
Take part in strategic development of the roadmap, taking optimal accounts of the costs and benefits of the long-term IT strategies
The ideal Salesforce Operations Specialist will have experience with:
Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce; Sales, Service Commerce & Marketing Cloud, data structures, Lightning platform and maintenance
Good IT knowledge and previous technical experience
Project management skills – ability to build strong relationships with various cross cultured teams
Strategic skills to developer long term vision and ability to translate these into actional roadmaps, improving the overall business functionality
Highly analytical, strong communication skills, dynamic and assertive
Hold relevant Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Sales & Service Cloud Consultant) are a bonus
Fluent in English – German is a massive plus
Willing to work between one of the many offices and home office
