My client is a Social Enterprise with an innovative & entrepreneurial approach to Education & Student Funding. To enable their growth, they depend on scaling technology which can manage and automate processes. They are currently building their own Salesforce in-house capacities to speed up the development of the existing Salesforce Platform and meet the demand of their operations.
The plan is to bring in an experienced Salesforce Developer who can maintain the existing platform & build new models to propel the business forward. In time this role will lead to progression internally and the goal is to have a full functioning team of Salesforce Professionals including, Developers, Architects & Administrators.
This role will give you the opportunity to make a positive impact on the business initially, then to help grow and lead this team of Salesforce experts.
The Salesforce Developer will:
Be responsible managing the current Salesforce implementation and develop new features
Work alongside the Head of IT discussing requirements and creating solution designs from a technical perspective for business needs within the possibilities of Salesforce
Optimize the development environment and development workflows
Maintain the infrastructure, of the customer portal, AWS Server Infrastructure
Discuss problems & solutions with the team, but handle the actual implementation yourself
Requirements
2-3 years of Salesforce experience (minimum 1 year as a Developer)
Hand on experience with object-oriented programming techniques, especially APEX
Knowledge of web technologies (Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Proven track record in delivering end-to-end implementations of Salesforce
Confident & able to work independently as the only internal Developer but motivated by the prospect of building & leading a team in the future
You like to break down requirements, building MVPs & can resist the temptation of building everything in code if there are good alternatives
You have a growth- and scalability mindset
Have a business mindset & consider business needs at all times
